I am a tenured research scientist (CR) in the EPIONE team of Inria Sophia Antipolis and Université Côte d’Azur. I have also an affiliate position within the School of Biomedical Engineering & Imaging Sciences at King’s College London (Visiting Senior Lecturer). Previous to this I was Research Associate at University College London (UK), and Researcher at the clinical Institute San Giovanni di Dio Fatebenefratelli (Italy). I obtained my MSc in Mathematics at Università degli Studi di Torino, and I hold a PhD in Signal and Image Processing from the University of Nice.
With my research team, we work on the study of statistical learning methods to model heterogeneous and sensitive data in biomedical applications. Particular focus is in the development of temporal models of disease progression, and in the analysis of multicentric data. I am also the founder and scientific responsible for the development of the open-source federated learning platform Fed-BioMed.
